The box sits 6” tall with a footprint about the size of a piece of 8.5x11” printer paper, and is suitable for an extra gloves, a layer or two, rain gear, maps, assorted cables, a compressor, and/or a ham sandwich.
The bag comes with a thick steel pre-drilled plate that covers the entire bottom of the bag, which itself is punched with corresponding holes in the same pattern. An assortment of rubber-lined pipe clamps come included to connect the bag to a UNIT Garage Parcel Rack, or any 3rd party rear rac, such as those found on older BMW Airheads. The box also comes with hardware to bold directly onto the pattern found on the later modular models of the UNIT Garage ATLAS Rear Rack Collection.
The bag opening is closed by two thick leather straps equipped with quality cast hardware, and an overlapping flap design helps keep water and dirt out.
For 100% waterproofing, pick up a dry bag to store inside, like the lightweight UNIT Garage Khali roll-top bag, or a rolled-down 13-Liter Sea to Summit Dry Bag.
