The pouches themselves are made by DMADA in Idaho using the same trademark tan waxed cotton we use on our Robinson jacket and on the Uber Deluxe Tool Roll. The inside is lined with bright orange 500D Cordura, for durability and visibility, and finished with a waterproof YKK zipper.
We don’t recommend leaving this tool kit out in rain, but the dual-layer construction and waterproof zipper give it a fighting chance should it get exposed to the elements. Each Pouch comes complete with a Chapman Manufacturing 12-piece bit kit, screwdriver, bit ratchet, and locking 4-inch extension.
Chapman has been making tools in its Durham, Connecticut, factory since 1936. In fact it supplied the US Army with this exact same so-called Midget Wrench during World War II. And now we’re supplying it as standard issue with this trusty take-along tool pouch.
We also included a set of metric Bondhus L-Bend ball-end wrenches—an essential companion for anyone encountering metric hex bolts. This Made-in-Minnesota set comes in an indestructible red plastic carrier that makes keeping your wrenches organized easy as pie.
Next up: a 1/4" drive folding T-handle wrench from BikeMaster. This Taiwanese-made steel driver comes with a 6-sided socket set comprised of of all usual suspect sizes, as well as a swivel extension for hard to access fasteners.
