This German-made hip armor follows Sas-Tec’s patented Tripleflex design, which uses interlocked 3D trident shapes molded from viscoelastic foam and adhered to a fabric back to offer multi-dimensional movement.

This particular pair of hip armor pads pass the CE Level 2 impact test. We stock them specifically for the Bowtex Essential Kevlar leggings, which technically pass the AA safety certification only if the hip armor is fitted.

This same model hip protectors comes included with the Bowtex Standard R AA moto pants.
