Meet the Stroker cargo pant from John Doe. This slim-fitting modern cut pant is eminently easy to wear, whether riding through traffic or walking around once you've reached your destination.
While other John Doe jeans employ a single-layer approach, the Strokers are more old-school, with a full length Kevlar-blend lining underneath the cotton shell. While this will make them somewhat warmer than their single-layer siblings, we added these pants to the collection because ultimately, two layers are better than one.
Plus, the amount of comfort and stretch in the Strokers are unparalleled. A customer in-store recently likened them to sweatpants. AAA rated sweatpants.
Offered in black, olive green, or camel-tan, this pant provides plenty of protection.
The impact aspect is covered equally well, thanks to what is the best knee armor adjustment system we’ve seen to date.
John Doe’s solution is dead simple—first it manufactures its own XTM brand Level 1 armor, which itself is lightweight, ventilated, and pliable. Next, two micro-hook Velcro strips are included on each knee armor piece, which lets the user precisely position the pieces into the knee pockets.
While the knee armor is on the smaller side, profile-wise, the brilliant “bullseye” positioning system lets the wearer target exactly where the knee armor needs to be. One can then record the position in relation to the provided reference marks, and then removal and re-installation becomes a cinch.
Features:
- CE certification: AAA (EN17092-3:2020)
- Tailored for a close fit
- Two-layer design
- Stretch cotton-twill outer fabric
- XTM-Fiber lining
- XTM protector-ready Integrated height-adjustable knee protector pockets
- Integrated hip protector pockets
