Measuring about 20L per side, the bags are kept in place primarily via two main strap supports that cantilever over the passenger seat of a standard motorcycle, and are further supported with straps to locate them to the supporting pannier rack.
UNIT Garage offers a much larger (2x) version fo this basic design, but equipped with ATLAS Locking Luggage Plates, to let users more quickly and securely latch the bags into place, or remove them just as easily.
This smaller version of the bags is easier to manage as a univeral appliactaion. Just unclip the strap helping keep them in place on the racks, and carry the bags by their leather handles, or by throwing the strap over your shoulder.
The roll-top design helps keep dirt and water out, and is secured by two thick leather straps with heavy-duty buckles. An external zippered pocket on the outside of each bag is good for keeping smaller everyday items out of your pockets but close at hand.
These universal saddlebags are available in black canvas with black leather trim, or tan canvas with brown leather trim.
