This lightweight tier of motorcycle racks from UNIT Garage offers an attractive option for anyone looking for an easy-on/easy-off pannier system that doesn't take up a lot of real estate on the bike. There are two components to the Klickfix pannier system:

1) The Klickfix Rack (the thing you're looking at)

Each UNIT Garage Klickfix Rack is designed to mount up easily using existing factory mounting points on your bike’s subframe, without the need to relocate turn signals as is sometimes the case for bigger racks. Racks come supplied with all necessary mounting hardware, which usually consists of just a couple high-quality metric fasteners.

These racks are made in Italy from stainless steel and treated with a durable matte black epoxy powder finish, and they fit up like original factory equipment.

A Klickfix rack is defined by two parallel bars set about 4 inches apart. This sturdy and simple outline offers lockable, quick-fitting functionality for easily securing any bag equipped with a matching Klickfix bracket.

Compared to traditional luggage racks, Unit Garage Klickfix racks are purposefully diminutive in scale, cleanly conforming to the contours of the particular bike they’re designed for, and far less noticeable when not carrying a bag than other systems.

Despite their small size, these racks provide a steady perch for securing a bag, or bags, for duty ranging from daily errands to weekend adventures.

2) A Klickfix Bracket/Bag (not included) 

Available separately as a standalone bracket, or included with a complete bag, the Klickfix bracket is the lynchpin for this lightweight pannier system.

The Klickfix design standard is the product of a little-known (to most motorcyclists) third party German company called Rixen Kaul, which produces a wide array of bicycle pannier bag and basket mounts, and one fantastic motorcycle-specific product with its Klickfix Bracket, which UNIT Garage has smartly capitalized on with scores of bike-specific racks, and a growing catalog of Klickfix bag options.

Note: the Klickfix bracket comes with a 10KG/22lb stated load limit. Considering the bracket comes from a German manufacturer, and judging by the fiberglass-filled Nylon construction, we’ll hazard a guess that there’s some appreciable surplus safety factor built into the stated allowances. But officially, it’s a 22lb weight limit.
