This boot provides good support, protection, tread, and looks, but the ease of entry is really the star of the show. They pop open like a ski boot, the "laces" gliding on some stainless filament that tightens down like it's laced with Teflon.

Variations of the BOA branded system, specifically, is the original and trusted source for this black magic. BOA has been used on ski/snowboard/mountaineering boots for years and is well proven in the field, plus REVIT is as good or better than any other brand in helping cover warranty issues. And so far we've had zero with any BOA brand mechanism.
Fit wise, these are fairly true to size, with a standard if slightly narrow last. Wides need not apply, although sizing up might be ab option.
