Compared to its even lighter-weight cousins, the Eclipse, the Airwave 3 tries less to hide as an urban jacket and comes right out with some reflective logos and accent stripes, and generous use of a lightweight Cordura at the shoulders and elbows for added protection. Even though they're both rated Single-A for abrasion, in a crash money would be on the Airwave 3 over the Eclipse.
The Airwave 3 has a sporty, athletic cut, with adjustments at the hem and upper arm to further dial in the fit.
For a AA rated jacket with similar, or even superior, airflow, check out either the REVIT Tornado 3 (which comes with a removable thermal/waterproof liner), or the KLIM Induction jacket, which is probably the best vented jacket to date.
The Airwave 3 jacket comes with REVIT's very comfortable contoured SeeSmart armor at the elbows and shoulders, and like all REVIT jacket's it comes without a back protector included (which you might own already for another REVIT jacket).

Like all REVIT jackets, the Airwave comes with a connection zipper to tie into the company's Safeway Belt.
