The whole assembly is made in Italy — bracket is made of powder-coated stainless steel; and the shield is made of 4mm thick PMMA (Acrylic).
It mounts easily and offers excellent aerodynamic protection.
The front slot helps cut down on turbulence, and the support tube doubles as a mounting point for a GPS, phone (via the Peak Design crossbar mount), or a Beeline Unit equipped with a Mirror Mount.

Also to note; the black accessory decal is sold separately. For clear or yellow shields, this UV resistant film helps hide wires or instruments; and has a pinstripe on the front and is all-black on the backside, facing the rider.
