This standard tie-down strap is great for quickly cinching down a motorcycle for transport. You can loop the vinyl-coated S-hooks around most standard handlebars, but we highly recommend using the Sheepskin Soft Ties (also made by Powertye).
The Ratchet assemblies on these straps are rated for 800lbs apiece. That's enough to hang almost any motorcycle by a single strap. We recommend using at least two tie-down points for any bike, and these straps will only be called upon to keep the bike from tipping over by triangulation, and resting on its own suspension, tethered also by gravity—not hanging in the air.
