The revisions also see an even more waterproof membrane, which is gravy as far as we're concerned, as we had no complaints about the waterproofing performance of the original edition.
This update also gets Velcro closures at the pant hems, and it and the new Swamp Jacket now come with a carrying case for easy packing.
The Swamp Rain Pants feature a long side zip, for easy access without needing to remove your boots.
Made from a stretch waterproof fabric with fully taped-seam construction, these pants will offer a fully waterproof and breathable fit, keeping the wearer dry on the swampiest of days. The material is both waterproof and windproof, and in a pinch can be donned even when dry to help preserve maintain precious heat in cold-weather touring.
Any rider will appreciate the elastic built into the waistband, which features a double-closure, and a gussett design to keep water at bay. The inside leg of each pant is bestowed with a rubberized panel, to help provide a buffer between the waterproof membrane and the point where you boot may be rubbing against your bike.
