The problem with running the other packs with less than, say, two-thirds of their full payload, is that they sag and flop around a bit, taking up a sad and lumpy shape on the back of your bike.

And if you’re going to take advantage of the modular aspect of the Kriega bags, they definitely work best when packed full, giving them some structure.

Meet the US-40, which serves as a sturdy base station for your next motorcycle adventure. The new bag comes with longer straps than its smaller siblings, allowing clean mounting to a wide variety of bikes—no rack required.

In a twist on its tried-and-true design, the US-40 features double-ended opening, making it easy to access, or to wind down into a smaller shape when you don’t need to bring the whole tent and camping setup.

As with all US-Drypacks, the US-40 can securely mount across a pillion seat with the subframe loops included.

Hypalon reinforced strap mounts and webbing loops provide robust mounting locations for additional US-Drypacks, OS-Packs or Accessories.

A padded shoulder strap comes included for toting this sturdy duffle off the bike.

Mounting Instructions:

Included with the US-40 are 4 x Subframe Loops, these are attached to the bike’s rear subframe or other metal structural parts. Once fitted a US-Drypack can be hooked-on with the 4 x Hook-Straps.
