The Badlands is so badass KLIM determined the standard D3O armor was't good enough for it, so they developed their own "Aero Pro" D3O elbow and shoulder armor (scroll down for photos at the bottom of the page) which offers a whopping 44% more coverage than conventional level 2 limb protectors.
This jacket is an absolute beast. It's the aircraft carrier of motorcycle jackets. with this current version a refined second edition with improved fabric spec, more ventilation, more functional storage, better fit, and more mobility.
The venting alone is worth noting, as it's got two front-of-sleeve vents, one on the back of the upper arm (per sleeve!)—plus two chest vents, and two massive rear exhaust events at the torso. That's 10 individual vents, not counting the snap-down collar tethers that helps draw in air when employed.
It's as tough as it looks, too, with durable SuperFabric ceramic print overlays and Cordura fabrics to handle abrasion, while inner panels that experience less wear are lightened for reduced bulk
Combine with the matching Badlands Pro Pants for an adventure kit that's ready to go to Alaska or anywhere in between.
