ATWYLD is a women’s motorcycle gear start-up based in California, and this is their second generation of motorcycle jeans, representing a culmination of everything they learned from their first model. Namely, they realized women wanted the option of armor, too, and they’ve incorporated hip and knee inserts from D3O.
The knee armor is accessed through a tiny metal zipper hidden into the jeans next to the seam—which means it can be installed or removed quickly and easily, without needing to drop trou’ in order to do so.
Subtle quilting on the jeans helps set them off, and feedback we’ve gotten from selling these for a season so far has been universally positive.
