Problem is, it didn't rain much this summer. One of the driest seasons on record for the greater New York area, so we had to go to lengths to put this stuff through its paces in this super serious rain test. Besides water entering through the collar when, say, a bucket is emptied point-blank at one's head, the rain gear in this test held up brilliantly. We've also gotten anecdotal reviews of the gear in this video from our good customer and friend Sonam, who splits time between NYC and his native Bhutan, where he recently survived monsoon season.
