Fundraiser: Virtual Turkey Run

We’re running a flash fundraiser for the Bowery Mission, which for over a century has been helping to house and feed New Yorkers in need – and right now there are an estimated 80,000 men, women and children who are homeless and hungry in NYC.

We're launching this fund drive for "#givingtuesday" with the goal of sending $1,000 to the Bowery Mission for the holidays.

The Bowery has always been the beneficiary of our semi-annual Turkey Run—which is basically the least efficient/most fun way we could conceive of to haul hundreds of pounds of slippery frozen turkeys, by motorcycle, across the Brooklyn Bridge to shelters in need for Thanksgiving.

To be clear: there is no Turkey Run this year.

But we’re trying to keep the spirit of the event alive by soliciting donations and tugging at your heartstrings with this as-yet unreleased, unsolicited video—shot, edited and donated by our friend and 2019 Turkey Run participant Danny Ojeda.
