The Scout jacket delivers real protection in a clean and understated style. Its abrasion-resistant outer shell is independently lab certified to AAA safety standards, thanks to its blend of Cordura and Kevlar reinforcements.
It's got traditional jean-jacket buttons that cover up a YKK zipper, which is "stepped," ending several inches above the hem, to allow for a comfortable splay while seated on the bike.
The Scout comes with low-profile level-1 D3O Ghost armor, which is super thin and wholly flexible and appropriate for this class of garment. A back protector pocket is designed to accept a D30 back pad — size medium D3O for jackets sized Small-Large, and size large for the XL size.
A ventilated back panel, premium lining, and waterproof inside stash pockets keep it comfortable and functional wherever the day takes you.
Fit note: this jacket follows a trim cut, and only is offered up to a size XL, which is slimmer than XL options from some of our other brands. The model shown here is 5'11" tall, 160lbs, with a 40" chest, and is wearing a size small in these photos.
