The Schott 141 cafe-cut leather jacket is a lasting classic—in production for 40 years, and still made in the USA, at the Schott factory in New Jersey.
It's such a timeless and enduring piece that we carry it even though it doesn't come with motorcycle specific armor, as almost all the other jackets in our catalog do.
We find that the 3/3.5oz cowhide is sufficiently thick, and there are enough viable armored shirts now available, that this jacket deserves a place in our catalog.
The 141 does a great job of truly workin off the bike, and on it, thanks to the biswing action-back and "underarm footballs" which accordion out when needed to reach the bars, and tuck up tightly when not needed.
This is a true four season piece, thanks to a removable plush liner that zips in for warmth in the cooler months, and easily removes when the mercury rises.
The U. S. sourced, chrome-tanned, drum dyed, heavyweight naked leather is among the most supple we've had on the shelf—which is remarkable considering how thick it is. And it's hard to describe the smell, but suffice it to say it's worth a snort.
Nickel plated brass hardware complete this timeless American made classic; while the brown version comes with contrasting brass hardware.
