If you don't know Ryan Quickfall's work, you should. His comic-book style is readily identifiable with vibrant colors and bold lines. If it looks familiar it’s because he’s been working at a prolific pace lately. And almost exclusively in the motorcycle world, through editorial or through client work—although he’s recently been branching off on his own more and more. Notably, one of his illustrations graces the cover of the most recent issue of Iron & Air, and he's a frequent contributor to Sideburn, among others.

It’s clear from his portfolio that motorcycles aren’t just a phase for this artist. He’s a longtime rider himself who brings an enthusiast’s eye to his work. These prints easily stand on their own individually, and look great in pairs or sets of three—making a unique addition to any home or office with a bold splash of color.

Quickfall normally handles all the screen-printing of his work right in his studio by himself, but given the distances involved we turned the reins over to one of the best printers in the city—Haven Press in Williamsburg. As a screen-printer himself, Quickfall was impressed last week when he finally got to inspect the finished product's rich colors and crisp lines. He remarked especially at the quality of the half-tones. We’ll have the prints up at the store in Brooklyn through July if you want to see them up-close and in person. We’ve also taken pains to photograph actual printed editions so you can see what you’re getting.

Each print order comes rolled in sturdy 4” x 18” tube with glycine paper protecting the print surface. Please don’t leave it there for weeks on end as it'll then resist framing. These prints look great in a simple, cheap frame, but if you want it forever we highly recommend going to a proper frame shop and putting it behind UV-resistant glass.

Special thanks to Monsignor Roberto Serrini for directing and delivering this fine video edit to help lend some context to this project.
