REVIT designed its new Arbor H2O for riders in Northern Europe and Canada, but it’s an excellent pick for riding in the shoulder seasons here in the Northeast.
The Arbor is a good-looking, downright distinguished cooler-weather jacket that shines on or off the bike, and will be comfortable riding in anything but hot summer days.
The Arbor’s civilian facade belies a real motorcycle jacket, with smoothly hidden level-1 armor at the shoulders and elbows, and sturdy poly-twill shell that feels reassuringly sturdy, and offers AA-rated abrasion resistance.
Unlike, say, the lesser-priced REVIT Shade 2 H2O, which uses a polyester shell and internal fixed waterproofing liner to provide the waterproofing, the Arbor’s laminate waterproof construction will shed water without soaking it up.
Waterproof zippers on the chest pocket and left forearm offer safe places for wallets or phones, and internal pockets in both the thermal liner, and also the shell itself, deliver extra stash spots.
