As with the Moto 65 jacket, the main performance benefits here come from the combination of a Cordura shell backed by a Sympatex waterproof/breathable membrane. The pants’ interior is lined with the same lofted mesh as the jackets, which helps wick moisture and keep the wearer comfortable.
These pants come with zippered leg opening gusset for easily adjusting boots, and vents on both the front and back of each thigh. Once zippered open there’s a snap to help keep the vents open to maximize airflow.
When it’s cold and/or wet, the vents can be closed, and a welt over the zippered opening keeps air or water from creeping in.
Sas-Tec Level 2 armor at the knees and Level 1 at the hips provide impact protection, while the pants themselves qualify for AA-rated abrasion resistance.
An integrated zipper in the waistband will connect to any North of Berlin jacket, to create a unified one-piece suit.
