We think the standard L2 Ghost armor is the best product on the market when it comes to riding jeans. Only problem: it requires a pocket to hold it, and John Doe riding jeans use a Velcro setup to hold armor in place.
Solution: we sourced a micro-hook material and had it sewn on to the back of standard D3O Ghost armor. Each strip is tied in with a double stitch of black Nylon backing thread locked down with a top stitch of clear filament upholstery thread.

As its name implies the Ghost L2 armor truly disappears, thanks to a nicely tapered edge and super pliable, flexible AF (TM) gooey D30 magic material.
At 11mm thick with fully tapered perimeter thickness (see full dimensions pictured below), the stock D3O Ghost L2 armor fits perfectly into any John Doe jeans, taking advantage of the brands simple/effective "bullseye" armor mounting system.
And it's so good, light, and low-profile, that think we don't expect to sell much of the original L1 D30 Ghost armor, and so we're only offering this upgrade in the Level 2 optoin.
