While the previous version of these Elite Leggings (Elite V1) were extremely stretchy, which sometimes made sizing difficult, the new V2 version has less stretch, and fits true to size.
Besides a slightly different fit, all the other benefits of the Bowtex Dyneema AAA rated leggings remain. Namely: these superhero underpants will keep the skin on your ass in the event of a get-off; even at relatively high-speed. Plus, they come with CE Level 2 Armor fitted at the hips and knees.
And rather than the old-school Kevlar way of doing things (which is actually a nice feature in the cooler months), Dyneema has a certain “cool” quality to it that feels cold against the skin, plus it vents air quite nicely. Note that the white material shown in some of the photos is the *inside* of the garment.
While they can be worn on their own, we think these leggings are best understood as a super-charged underlayer, instantly transforming any manner of casual pants into bona fide motorcycle gear. Torn fashion jeans, linen pants, your favorite pajamas—anything.
