A favorite of police forces, and riders who just can't be encumbered by a full-face helmet, the Arai RAM-X is based off the same high-end chassis of the top-model Corsair-X, which gets multiple rows of vents positioned on top of the head.

The Ram-X comes standard with a Pro Shade shield fitted, giving the rider the best of both worlds with an extended clear shield for nighttime and overcast conditions, and a flip-down sun visor for cutting midday glare. 

It also comes with a pinlock insert, included with every helmet. 

We're normally big fans of full-face helmets. But if you must go open-face, this is the most protective and full-featured option on the market.
