This bag works well on a motorcycle but can be toted into almost any office environment without attracting a second glance. It’s a great daily “adult bag,” capable of carrying a laptop, charger, change of clothes, and all one’s daily essentials. It can also cinch down tight and faithfully perform at speed on a motorcycle, splitting lanes and hustling about one’s daily commute.

And because it’s made by Kriega, the number of days it’s ready for is fairly substantial. Based on the brand’s whopping 10-year guarantee, it’s up for a minimum of 3,650 days of everyday use. And in our experience of using this very bag for several years now, that’s a realistic expectation.

The bag’s padded shoulder strap can be mounted to the bag in a couple of different configurations. Left shoulder bag; right shoulder bag; or tote. It’s also got a handle for carrying briefcase style. 

One of the nicest parts of the bag—and its most functional motorcycle features—is a slick alloy buckle with a quick-slide feature, which lets the strap expand rapidly and generously enough to fit over any full-face helmet. Try that with your standard laptop bag and you’re liable to get stuck in your strap or throw a shoulder out trying.

A Hypalon main flap (the same material used on the company’s bomb-proof OS bags) provides a plenty durable material for, well, Every Day Carrying.

While it’s not as 100% waterproof as a Kriega roll-top bag, and the compartment zippers are not in fact waterproof, the Hypalon flap covers all the sensitive openings and after years of use in all sorts of weather we’ve yet to see water get into this bag during normal use—walking and riding in the rain.
