Later this month Lyndon is flying straight from Nairobi, Kenya, to New York City, and will be treating us to a live after-hours presentation here at the store. Each presentation will consist of two hour-long blocks—one dedicated to “Races to Places”, and one on the Dakar Rally. In between we will have a short intermission for leg-stretching and refreshments.
The talk will be followed by a short Q&A session and a chance to grab a commemorative signed Motorex hat, or special event t-shirt featuring a 5-color silk-screen of Lyndon’s famous Basil Bike, illustrated by Ryan Quickfall.
The price of admission includes automatic entry to win one of several door prizes being generously donated by our sponsors: Enduristan, Klim, and Shoei.
*Due to space restrictions tickets will NOT be available for purchase at the event. Please reserve your seat now!
> Doors open at 6:30
> Presentation starts at 7:00
> Beverages and light fare are included.
> Space is limited – please RSVP!
Never heard of him? Lyndon Poskitt is a lifelong motorcyclists and racer who left a steady job as an aerospace engineer in 2014 to chase the dream of riding “Basil Bike,” his purpose-built KTM 690 Rally Factory Replica, clear around the world.
And over the last several years he’s done just that—riding and racing multi-day Rally races on seven continents, and copiously documenting his travels for others to enjoy. He’s currently in the midst of releasing season 11 of his “Races to Places” show on youtube via Patreon, the crowd-funding platform that helps keep this privateer on the road.
In 2017 Poskitt competed in the grueling solo-class of the Dakar rally, producing this excellent 1-hour documentary —if you haven’t already seen it, an excellent primer for his upcoming presentation!
The following year he returned and produced and uploaded daily 10-minute segments, offering thousands of fans a true inside, blow-by-blow look at one of the hardest races in the world.
