Like the Kevlar Motorpool pants, this Featherbed model comes with a Kevlar liner at the seat, along the thighs and at the knees and are offered in five core sizes, with the length automatically graded for each waist size, from 28-36.
Hip and knee armor is included, and the knee armor can be easily slipped in and out without needing to stop to take the pants off, which makes it easy to ditch the knee armor once you reach your destination, and just as easy to slip back in when you get back on the bike.
Thanks to centrally located, triple-reinforced belt loops, these pants work great with the REVIT Safeway belt.
The hip armor isn’t as easily removable, but its anatomical Left/Right-specific spare helps it to disappear while riding. Elasticated panels at the waist and above the knee provide a great range of movement for riding.
Plus, the Featherbed-K’s come only in black, which is guaranteed never to go out of style.
