This jacket has been designed with pockets that are nice and deep, and that zip closed to make sure nothing flies out while you’re riding. ATWYLD also added a hidden pocket on the inside for the things you want to keep extra close. The mock neck collar snaps securely closed with a heavy-duty snap that will not come undone in the wind.
The jacket features quilting on the sleeves, shoulders and back panels for extra protection and to add to its classic styling. The zip gussets at the side seams allow for an adjustable circumference. There are added stretch panels at the back shoulders, providing comfort when in the riding position on those long haul trips.
While this is one of the few non-armored jackets in the entire store, we gave it a pass because 1) well, it’s just a damn good-looking jacket, and 2) the leather has reinforced at the impact zones a para-aramid fiber called Twaron (Think, lower-case “K” Kevlar) which adds a nice extra layer between the rider and the road.
But that’s just abrasion resistance—and while that's far more than most fashion jackets have, we still like to see some impact resistance built-in by way of armor, so consider layering the Alltime jacket over a Knox women’s armored shirt, or an Icon Field Armor compression shirt to check off the armor box.
