The Copper jeans from Alpinestars are cut slim (but not skinny) and are reinforced with Kevlar at the seat and knees.
A single horizontal stitch helps secure the Kevlar in place without calling undue attention to the fact these are motorcycle jeans.
The hip armor is very thin and not CE rated, but the knee armor plenty thick and fully CE Rated, and can be adjusted to one of two positions so that it sits correctly covering the kneecap while in riding position. The knee armor is flexible and discreet enough to hardly notice while walking around.
The Copper jeans are available in three colors: black, raw indigo and dark rinse. They’re cut long and meant to be hemmed, and fit true-to-size for standard jeans sizing, if slightly trim.
* Note: the Raw Indigo color has been discontinued
