Description

This heavy-duty Trialmaster jacket is a more robust version of the classic 10oz waxed-cotton version of the same name. It is made in Italy from high-quality hand-waxed leather that has been hand-finished for immediate use—no break-in process necessary, and it's still plenty thick leather with a 1-1.1mm spec.

Offered in a classic black or a "cuero" vintage brown, this jacket comes looking like it's ready for battle, but moreover it also delivers markedly more abrasion resistance than its waxed cotton cousin. It comes with metal underarm breathers for added ventilation, and notablly does not come with a secondary waterproof liner, as the waxed cotton version (both men's and women's) are backed up with. If there's rain on the horizon we reccomend packing along a complementary 3/4-length rain jacket to protect your investment.

And this jacket in turn will protect you. Besides the full-length cowhide coverage it comes with Level-2 D3O armor at the shoulders and elbows, and has a pocket ready to accept a D3O back protector.

This jacket comes compelet with four front pockets, an inside documents pocket, and belted waist that can be tied behind or easily removed. Under full steam it should be noted the belt aids in keeping the jacket from balooning with air. Additionaly the stepped two-way zipper allows for proper leg position while sitting on the bike. Finish touches like soft interior pocket liners, courtoroy facing on the collar and sleeves, and a tone-on-tone embroidered logo on the left sleeve complete the piece.

Sizing note: Reference the chart linked above but keep in mind this is a trim-fitting jacket. If between sizes, go up. If you're accustomed to more generously sized garments, defintiely go up. If in down, these cuts are more Italian than they are British - so size accordingly!
