If we had to pick one KLIM glove to have in the store, it’s hard not to pick the Vanguard GTX. Sure for all out ADV riding the Badlands Aero Pro or Adventure Short options are both superior, but dollar-for-dollar it’s pretty hard to beat the Vanguard.
This all-‘rounder is protective, good-looking, and damn affordable a Gore-Tex motorcycle glove. And it’s not for want of features—the Vanguard GTX come with e-touch fingertips, a visor wiper built into the left-hand index finger, and both knuckle and palm protectors.
The leather KLIM Vanguard GTX gloves feature Gore-Glove technology—a waterproof/breathable membrane that’s bonded to the glove’s shell that won’t pull out when you take the gloves off.
A YKK locking zipper make it easy to get in and out of these all-day, four-season gloves. Like all KLIM gear, they’re light on insulation. If you want to run them all winter, pick up a silk glove liner. But as-is expect these gloves to perform beautifully in spring and fall weather.
They offer protection (from the elements, and the pavement) usually found in full gauntlet battle gloves—but in a package that’s zips up tight and fits *under* the cuff of almost any jacket.
