Iron & Air magazine has been published since 2012 - about the same time the doors at Union Garage first opened for business.
While we serve our customers with a curated selection of quality motorcycle gear (and accompanying accessories, including quality reading material), Iron & Air serves up its readers regular helpings of featured bikes, interviews, art, feature photography, gear reviews and event coverage. It's a quartlery publication beautifully printed on heavy paperstock. Each issue is perfect-bound and robust enough to live a good long life on a coffee table, or later a bookshelf with other back-issues.
Not your traditional motorcycle magazine, Iron & Air also has in its DNA fleks of mountaineering, art, design and wanderlust. It's not always just about the bikes (or cars as the magazine's been known to feature), it's as much about the places those vehicles take you, and the people they lead you to meet.
Based in Manchester, New Hampshire, the magazine's HQ is surrounded by prime New England twisties.
Here's a little definiting text from the editors themselves:
"We're motivated like most who can't get enough of these machines in our lives: to roll out of bed, risk, and chase the life we're looking for. Motorcycles have a way of moving us towards that. While the machine is the thread that connects us, it’s the places it takes us that often create the greater stories of our lives. We seek to tell those stories in a timeless publication that had been missing from our own coffee tables: a quarterly, heavy-stock, 114-page storyteller capturing the chase."
