The 3/4-length Yoxall is made from durable Scottish waxed cotton and cuts a smart silhouette with its traditional four-pocket design and quilted shoulder and elbow caps.
As a nice touch of modernity, the Yoxall features two horizontal zippered chest vents, and two vertical exhaust vents in the back—so it’ll breath decently with the vents activated.
The main zipper is covered by a waxed cotton stormflap with a rain gutter underneath—all held in place by hidden Velcro panels once zipped, snapped and smoothed in place.
The 8oz Scottish waxed cotton provides ample waterproofing, and it’s backed up with an internal taped-seam Reissa-brand waterproof/breathable liner—this is a permanent, non-removable internal layer sandwiched between the waxed cotton shell and the mesh drop-liner, which aids in comfort by letting airflow circulate around inside the jacket.
The jacket’s ready for cooler temperatures, too, with a full-sleeve 100g thermal liner. And as a nice touch, the liner sports genuine tartan cotton lining made in the UK from Marton Mills.
Subtly integrated adjustment tabs at the bicep, forearm and hem help keep the jacket from flapping in the wind regardless of whether the thermal liner is installed or not. There’s also an internal waist cinch to help keep drafts out.
Between the removable thermal liner and its intake and exhaust vents, the Yoxall works well in a range or riding conditions.
The Yoxall comes fitted with removeable CE Level 1 shoulder and elbow armor, and it has a (30x40cm) pocket to accommodate a back protector—we recommend the CE Level 2 Seesoft KN106 model.
