The day also snowballed into one hell of an on-the-spot motorcycle show, with vintage Guzzis, BMWs, Laverdas and Ducatis all hogging space in front of the sidewalk. There were plenty of modern Ducatis in attendance too—including a Desmo Sedici, a pair of Panigales and a MH900 Mike Hailwood replica.
Beyond the bikes the food and cold craft ale from NJ Beer Co clinched the day. Special thanks to chef Ken Aldin and company for cooking and to Moto Borgotaro for footing the bill to have 200lbs of live, prize, end-of-season jumbo cajun crawfish FedEx’d direct from Louisiana.
The party was a perfect way to kick off the summer riding season. Thanks to everyone who made it possible. We’re doing it again next year. Makes sure to follow us on Facebook or sign up for the Union Garage newsletter (check the footer) so you don’t miss out.
