We currently have a seasonal part-time position available, as well as a rare full-time opportunity open for the right candidate. Interest and experience in motorcycles and gear is a must. Experience in retail is highly preferable, but not essential.
Sales Associate; 30+ hours/week: Duties include staffing our Union Street retail store in Brooklyn and representing the company through interacting with the gear-seeking motoring public, both in-store and online. The ideal candidate will have several years of riding motorcycles under his or her belt, and the ability to break down the gear we carry in an honest and easy to understand way.
Product training will be provided, and there is potential to grow this role as we grow. Additional skills such as photography, instinctual marketing savvy, photo or video editing and CMS management all are highly favorable.
The job also includes web order processing and fulfillment, and inventory management work, as well as the perfunctory tidying and general upkeep that comes with an inventory-heavy brick-and-mortar retail shop. We occasionally require late nights to work in-store events. Weekends are required.
Assistant Manager: Full-Time 40 hours/week w/paid time off. This position includes of the same duties as the sales associate position listed above, plus a greater responsibility for store merchandising, staff training, oversight of all warranty claims and credits, assistance with managing special orders, and general operations oversight on a day-to-day basis.
