The job: help manage retail operations at our Union Street retail store. Anyone we bring on would start on a part-time, trial basis with the possibility of evolving into a full-time position for the right person. Interest and experience in motorcycles and gear is a must. Experience in retail is highly preferable, but not essential.
Duties include staffing our Union Street retail store in Brooklyn and representing the company through interacting with customers both in-store and online. The ideal candidate will have several years of riding motorcycles under his or her belt and the ability to break down the gear we carry in an honest and easy to understand way.
Product training will be provided, and there is plenty of potential for growth with this new and fast-growing motorcycle gear brand. Additional skills such as photography, marketing savvy, photo or video editing and CMS management are all highly favorable. The job also includes some light data entry, web order processing and fulfillment, and inventory management work, as well as the tidying and upkeep that comes with an inventory-heavy brick-and-mortar retail shop, from merchandising to sweeping and dusting. Weekends are required.
